A group of United Costumers designs
Pencil, watercolor, and gouache on paper. Six original renderings, including depictions of a battle scene, a fancy dress ball, and a couple in 18th century costume with the heading "Burgesses." One design stamped "Property of United Costumers" on the verso. The United Costumers company operated from 1930 to 1938 and worked on such films as Queen Christina (MGM, 1933) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Warner Bros., 1938).
