A Billie Burke costume sketch
Pencil and watercolor, a design from an unknown production, inscribed, "Dress Designed for Miss Billy Burk(sic)" and "Plate XIII," "Rena Beale." Although best known today as Glinda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz, Burke had a long stage and film career beginning in the early 1900s and was also the wife of theater magnate Flo Ziegfeld.
