the hinged oblong form with serpentine edges and ovolo corners centering a gouache miniature on porcelain of bacchantes and Pan dancing in a woodland clearing, accentuated by rose-cut diamonds, opening to a mirrored interior with lidded double compartments, exterior with radiating line and engine-turned motifs; with European assay mark and maker's mark AV; nos. 32765 and 16609; gross weight approximately: 153.9 grams (including mirror); length: 3in.
