designed as a diadem with bands of floral and foliate piercework motifs surmounted by coils of seed pearls, accentuated by pearl highlights and lines of seed pearls, set on a hinged comb of blonde tortoiseshell; with French assay mark, with fitted box signed by Feuillebois-Parent, Paris; mounted in eighteen karat gold; length: 5 7/8in. (pearls not tested for origin)
