In the Northern Territory of Australia, 145 kilometers south west of Alice Springs, twelve craters were formed when the famous Henbury meteor blasted the earth's surface. This desirable slice has been acid etched to display Henbury's signature crystalline pattern composed of alternating bands of kamacite and taenite, two nickel-iron alloys.
