Phrenite was named after Colonel Von Prehn who brought the first specimen to Europe from the Cape of Good Hope where he discovered it. The present specimen is a fine one, displaying a dozen well-formed spherules of celadon green intermingled with black tourmaline crystals. Measures 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in
