A farely scarce cyclosilicate mineral, popular with collectors due to its attractive and distinctive colors, eudialyte originates from Mt. Kukisvumchorr, Khibiny Massif, Kola Peninsula, Russia. It is characterized by its strong purplish red crystals. The removable hummingbird, with gold vermeil beak and feet, perches above a carved rhodochrosite trumpet flower flanked by carved Peruvian chrysocolla leaves which emerge from a carved milky quartz base, atop a black onyx base.
