Fine, translucent Brazilian rose quartz has been used in this realistic carving of a parrot with with outstretched wings. The beak is carved of rubellite tourmaline, the eyes are formed of cabochon garnets, the gold vermeil feet rest upon a boulder of massive two-color beryl--morganite to one side and pastel green beryl to the other. Raised on a black acrylic base. Height 14in
