Rare and Large Colorless Chrysoberyl

The rarest of all chrysoberyls, the colorless variety is only found in Burma. Chrysoberyls are the third hardest naturally occurring gemstone and stand between corundum and topaz on the hardness scale. The present oval-cut stone is devoid of all color and possesses a high degree of clarity as well as near-adamantine luster. It is large for the species weighing in at well above 11 carats. Weighing approximately 11.36 carats and measuring 15.5 x 10.0 x 7.0mm
