This rare member of the feldspar family is similar to sunstone from Oregon. It differs, however, by having more intense color and usually a higher transparency. The present stone is a lively and appealing fancy oval-cut with excellent polish, luster and pleochroic effects showing a reddish golden hue.
Weighing approximately 14.01 carats and measuring 21.0 x 11.0 x 8.5mm
