Two Pink Tourmaline Slices and a Pair of Sapphire Plaques

A cross-section slice of a hexagonal crystal, with the naturally striated sides of the crystal still visible. Displaying excellent transparency and a vivid pink hue, of suitable size to create a novel pendant, weighing approximately 36.40 carats and measuring 42.0 x 31.0 x 2.0mm; together with a small rubellite tourmaline slice, polished on one face and naturally terminated on the other, with striated sides, weighing approximately 15.5 carats and measuring 21.0 x 15.0 x 4.5mm. The two sapphire plaques, each following the hexagonal outline of the original crystal, polished on both sides, weighing a total of 16.4 carats and measuring approximately 13.0 x 13.0 x 2.5mm. (4)
