Sensuously formed and decorated as a bikini clad female torso, this modern design was showcased in 1951 at the 9th Triennale in Milan. Production of the model was extremely limited, as it presented great technical challenges, and examples were created in only two color schemes -- blue and white against a clear ground, or aubergine/black and white against a clear bodice, as seen in the example on offer.
