  • This bronze was modeled after the beloved pet of chocolate manufacturer, Georges Meunier, who commissioned the work from Pompon in 1930. The bronze was cast by Valsuani in 1931 and sold as a limited edition. After Meuniere's death the original was bequeathed to the Musee des Beaux-Arts in Dijon.
