2 volumes. 8vo (197 x 113 mm). xxxiv, [2], 567, [1] pp; [2], 478 pp. 8 folding maps by Herman Moll. Recent full crushed morocco. Light offsetting to maps with a tiny tear to fold of one and a minor chip to Barbados map just touching border, some toning to leaves, minor staining to titles with author's name mounted to same, spines a touch sunned.

Second expanded and corrected edition. The first volume is devoted to North America and the second to the West Indies. "The story of William Penn and the Indian princess, as related by himself to the author, is first given in the second edition" (Sabin). Maps include a general map of North America as well as maps of: New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania; New Foundland and New Scotland; Virginia and Maryland; Carolina; Barbados; St. Christopher Island; and Jamaica.
