4to. Illustrated by Kay Nielsen including 12 color plates. Original quarter cloth over marbled paper boards, spine gilt-lettered, top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Occasional finger-soiling, some toning and speckling to plate mounts, hinges cracked and taped, cloth rubbed and edges worn.
LIMITED EDITION, no 487 of 600 copies, SIGNED by the artist. The fourth and last of the great deluxe editions of this modern master illustrator. There was no British trade edition of this title.
