Folio (523 x 351 mm). 25 color plates and one hand-colored engraving. Original half vellum over decorative paper-covered boards, spine gilt, a.e.g., by Hiscox, slipcase with gilt-lettered morocco label. A few stray spots to vellum, slipcase toned and with shelfwear, an excellent copy.
LIMITED EDITION, no 17 of 25 copies, signed by the authors and with an original hand-colored engraving by Redoute. This example is "Canna Flaccida" from Les Liliacees.
