Modern full calf, spine lettered in gilt. A few stray spots, some coloring imperfect, faint stains to title, last two lines in imprint carefully excised.
A rare instruction manual originally issued in parts. The text details the colors to be used in the painting of the engraved plates as well as the type of paint to purchase.
