Original gilt-stamped purple morocco, a.e.g. rebacked, two vols preserving original spine. Infrequent foxing, some plates toned, ownership signature to title of last three volumes, shelfwear, original spines dry.
A relatively attractive copy of this work that is often found in poor condition. The plate count seems to vary slightly with each copy.
