Two manuscript maps of the Upper West Side, around 53rd to 54th streets and "Bloomingdale Road" (i.e. Broadway) and 9th Avenue, both titled: "Map of the Real Estate in the 12th Ward of the City of New York belonging to Jacob Harsen, M.D. Surveyed July 1848," being pen, ink and wash plans, backed onto linen, edged with brown cloth ribbon. Toned, creased (few cracks) and some surface soiling. Comprising:
1. Survey of one block between between 53rd and 54th Streets and 8th Avenue and Bloomingdale Road (i.e. Broadway), 473 x 648 mm.
2. Survey of one block between 53rd and 54th Street and 8th and 9th Avenues, 497 x 660 mm.
