Engraved allegorical frontispiece, folding engraved map and 45 engraved maps in text (18 hand-colored in outline). Large engraved sphere, compass, and astronomical systems in text. Period calf, raised bands, blind tooling. Index leaves and some text leaves browned, chip to blank bottom margin of two leaves, maps clean, boards detached and worn.
Provenance: Swinborne (period ownership inscription).
