Titles printed in red and black. Folding engraved frontispiece to vol 1, 15 folding engraved plates and plans. Titles browned, some other light toning, bindings scuffed and rubbed, spines dry, spine of vol 3 with loss to foot of spine.
Provenance: the Servite Order's "Conventus Viennensis in Rossaugia" (early bookplate and various associated early manuscript shelf and accession numbers).

A surprisingly rare later 12mo edition of Lafitau's work, first published in two quarto volumes in Paris in 1733.
