Folio (285 x 195 mm). )(4 A-M4 N6. 3 double-page or folding woodcut plates, 107 woodcut illustrations. Modern half calf. Light toning, title with small ink specks, a piece of cellotape, and tipped to endpaper at gutter, final leaf strengthened at gutter, one folding plate with tiny tissue stengthening at fore-edge.

FIRST EDITION. The author, an artist, goldsmith, and woodblock-cutter, was influenced by da Vinci and Dürer.
