Illuminated manuscript on vellum, [Northern France, mid or late 15th century]. Single leaf from the Suffrages section, 15 lines, red, blue and gold inks, gothic bookhand, written space 125 x 85 mm, three-line initial in blue on gold ground with flower detail, two-line initial in gold on red ground, and LARGE MINIATURE OF PETER MARTYR AND ANOTHER MARTYR, broad border on three sides with leaves in gold and blue, strawberries, thistle, and red flowers, short split to vellum at top edge touching border, a little flaking to paint, framed.
