A Sèvres style earthenware gilt bronze mounted covered vase
early 20th century

Surmounted by a domed lid with fir cone finial, painted with three maidens on a riverbank accompanied by six putti, signed Ch. Fuchs 1916, the reverse with six putti in a rural landscape, flanked by foliate and swag handles, on circular laurel wrapped foot, the lid with pseudo blue painted interlaced Ls mark enclosing L above S... and pseudo Chateaux marks.
