The model in three section surmounted by the effigy of Henry IV wearing chain mail, holding sword and shield emblazoned with heraldic eagle on pedestal encircled by abbreviated Latin inscription HEN. QUARTUS. MILLE. TRIA. C. MINUS. X. OBIT ILLE EGREIIS ANNIS. SLE. CRA. SAN. DIX. NOCTE JOHANNIS (Henricus quartus MCCXC obit ille egregiis annis Slesiae, Cracoviac, Sandomiriae dux nocte Johannis) ink inscription on underside Henri le probe, raised on separate and probably associated stepped velvet covered plinth.
