A group of three buncheong ware bowls

The first potted with a flared rim on a deep curving well impressed with a dense rope pattern and wiped with a creamy white slip also brushed on the upper exterior walls beneath a colorless glaze (chips, hairline cracks); the second potted with a flared rim and impressed along the interior walls with string bands, flower heads and a row of lotus petals picked out in white slip against a celadon-hued glaze that continues on the exterior walls also incised in white slip with three string bands (broken and re-stuck); the third a deep saucer with canted walls inlaid in white slip with a floral medallion to the center of the floor, bands of impressed rope and grasses that repeat on the exterior walls above a lotus petal band near the short foot (chipped).
