An archaistic bronze tripod censer
Heavily cast in compressed globular form supported by three beast-head and hoof-form feet, the sides covered in an ornate leiwen and cicada band ground beneath stylized bird or creature motifs, the two upright C-form handles on the mouth rim surrounding a snugly-fitted convex lid perforated by irregularly shaped smoke holes and surmounted by a large lion-dog finial (minute cracks to the solder of one leg).
