19th/20th century
Including two embroidered fan cases, one having polychrome decoration of birds on a flowering branch with the reverse bearing a poetic inscription, the other having gold and silver wrapped thread on a black reserve showing items from the scholar's desk below a lingzhi head, with woven blue and white edging; two pouches with applied silk decoration, the double gourd form of peony on a red ground, and the other of a heart shape with lotus on a navy ground; the fifth rectangular pouch of orange ground decorated with polychrome embroidery of birds and spotted deer; the sixth a rectangular pouch of bats and Buddhist Treasures on a peach reserve (fading and loose threads).
