Bonhams 1793 : Two blue and white porcelain snuff bottles

The first of flattened globular form surmounted by a tall flat mouth and supported by an ovoid foot encircling a recessed base bearing a four-character Qianlong mark, the sides covered in a continuous figural scene of boys at play; the second of meiping shape supported by a raised foot encircling a recessed base bearing a four-character Qianlong mark, the sides supporting opposing molded fins and decorated as two upright fish, the gills and faces highlighted in underglaze copper red.
