Bonhams 1793 : A nephrite covered vase with Mughal-style relief decoration

Of flattened baluster form with a well-hollowed body of oval section and spreading foot, carved with stylized lotus flower and curling leaf sprays that form the handles and rise in shallow relief across the body and domical cover; the pale green matrix displaying pin-point iron and icy white inclusions, minimal pale russet veins and a few natural surface fissures.
