A jadeite ruyi scepter
19th/20th century
In the form of a branch of lingzhi with scrolling heads and reticulated stems throughout, the head of the scepter formed from three scrolling larger lingzhi heads, the lower third of the handle carved from a separate piece of stone and attached; the matrix of semi-translucent white, spinach and pale green hue, the head with opaque pale russet inclusions and dark russet stained veins.
