A marble table screen
The 'dream-stone' marble with variegated swirls in white and green gray resembling a lakeside scene, one side inscribed with a seven-character ode bearing a yimao date with three seals: one shaped as an artimisia leaf, one reading possibly xue ('learning') and one reading possibly zhou; as well as a longer seven-character four line ode incised in gilt bearing a date of jiashu year of the Tongzhi reign as well as bearing the incised seals reading Huang Qizi ('the seventh imperial son') and Chun Qinwang ('Prince Chun'); supported by a wood frame with incised beast heads and cash emblems to the side framing members and flaring apron to base.
