An eight panel wood screen with inset paintings
Late Qing/Republic period
The eight panels carved to one side with small reticulated stylized lotus petal reserves immediately above and below rectangular fragments of figural paintings on silk in ink and pigments under glass, the two panels on either end with additional narrow vertical reticulated wood reserves in prunus blossom design, all above further incised reserves of vines and fruit in raised relief.
