Bi Botao (1885-1961)
Of baluster form with the mouth rim, shoulders and foot painted in sepia tones, the body decorated with eighteen cranes amid chrysanthemum and pine, with an inscription signed Bi Botao and dated dingchou (1937), with an unglazed foot rim, the base glazed with a half relief-half intaglio seal reading Bi shi.
