A famille rose enameled porcelain bottle vase with figural decoration
Qianlong mark, late 20th century
Its bulbous mouth encircled by overlapping plantain leaves and the body of pear form painted in brilliantly hued enamels with a seated beauty watching two children pluck a branch from an autumn-flowering tree reversed by a garden rock below an inscription bearing the seals of Lang Shining (Giuseppe Castiglione, 1688-1768), the recessed base bearing the four-character mark in overglaze blue enamel.
