A wucai decorated porcelain dragon bowl
Guangxu mark and period
Its deep curving well centered with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl in colored enamels framed by a double ring in underglaze blue that repeats below the rim, the exterior walls with alternating phoenix and dragons amid flowers beneath a band of cloud collars separated by ba zhi xiang and the recessed base displaying the six-character mark in underglaze blue regular script (chipped); together with a yellow ground enameled porcelain deep dish painted with birds, flowering prunus branches and bamboo in famille rose enamels reversed by three floral sprays, the recessed base bearing a six-character Guangxu mark in iron red regular script (chipped).
