Qianlong mark, late Qing/Republic period
Its rim flange cut with a band of circular openings and its curving well painted in bright enamels with flowers, leaf sprays and geometric-patterned square reserves against the lime green ground that continues on the exterior walls surrounding large peony blossoms, the recessed base bearing the six-character mark in iron red enamel on a square reserve surrounded by turquoise enamel (minor frits to enamel).
