An unusual transmutation glazed porcelain footed censer
Xuande mark, 18th/19th century
Of traditional bombé form comprised of a compressed globular body surmounted by U-shaped handles along the rim and supported by three attenuated feet alternating with three spur marks surrounding the barely legible impressed six character mark, covered in a matte glaze in mottled shades of periwinkle, russet, and white in imitation of a corroded bronze vessel.
