Late Qing dynasty
Potted with a garlic head atop a long spreading neck with dragon head handles and pear shaped body raised on a solid cushion base, the exterior walls outlined in raised slip with cranes and stiff leaves around the neck and the Eight Immortals standing beneath a cloud collar band, the various motifs highlighted in green and purple enamels against a turquoise enamel ground, the flat base left unglazed (firing flaws, chip).
