A pair of clair-de-lune glazed porcelain baluster vases
Kangxi marks, 19th century
Each of hexagonal section with a cupped rim, waisted neck and tall body tapering toward the foot, the pale blue cobalt wash applied to the exterior walls beneath a colorless glaze covering all surfaces except the foot pad, the recessed base bearing the six-character mark in underglaze blue (rim frits).
