A small soft paste porcelain water coupe
18th century
Of globular form, cut with a narrow circular mouth on the top of the thinly sectioned walls applied with a grapevine of molded grapes clusters, veined leaves, and lithe tendrils that stretch toward a squirrel applied nearby; the interior and exterior surfaces covered with a thin clear glaze ending evenly around a small section of the foot pad encircling the recessed glazed base.
