A Zhejiang celadon glazed porcelain jar
Qing dynasty, made for the Southeast Asian market
Of inverted pear shape, the shoulders supporting four molded lug handles rendered as ridged talons of the two opposing rampant dragons incised to the sides above a stylized lotus petal ring encircling the raised foot rim surrounding a recessed base, the exterior surfaces covered with a blue-green glaze filled with a dense web of brown-stained craze lines.
