Painted in cobalt line and wash with the Eight Auspicious Emblems and blossoms that fill the wide canted rim, a stylized peony and leafy branch roundel surrounded by cloud and lappet bands across the floor of the curving well and reversed with butterflies and lingzhi fungus beneath the rim while a flowering branch band and cloud scroll pattern decorate the foot area, its recessed base centered with a four-character mark possibly reading fu gui ya qi (rim repaired and retouched).
