A blue and white porcelain double gourd vase

The dense fabric thickly potted and painted with bamboo branches around the upper lobe while a fisherman casts his line from the shore of a hilly landscape that extends round the lower lobe, a celadon-tinged glaze covering all surfaces except the foot pad around the recessed base (abrasion, rim and neck now covered with a white brass mount).
