Edo Period
The browned 42 inch tapered round .60 caliber smoothbore barrel with tulip muzzle inlaid with cloud forms in brass and copper above a roped brass and copper band; ramped block rear sight framed by a dragon amidst clouds inlaid in the barrel in brass, copper and silver; breech section inlaid in brass with wave patterns. Brass lock. Engraved brass furniture in the form of blossoms, the underside of the stock with an engraved brass plate in the form of an arrow with karimata head. Figured wood stock with paddle butt.
Condition: Fine. Barrel showing some minor spotting. Stock with scattered light marks, one barrel pin escutcheon missing.
