A 12 gauge double barrel coach gun by Manhattan Arms Company
circa 1890
Serial no. 48138T, 12 gauge. 18 1/2 inch brown Damascus barrels with brass fore-sight, Liege proofs and concave matte rib marked The Climax Laminated Steel. Locks with border engraving and signed Manhattan Arms Co. Checkered walnut fore-end and pistolgrip stock with checkered hard rubber buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Barrels retaining much striped Damascus finish. Bore with light pitting throughout. Sound wood showing wear to checkering and numerous light marks.
