A Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle
Serial no. 47903 for 1890, .45-90 W.C.F. 26 inch octagonal blued barrel with standard sights, left side of breech stamped T.A.Perkins. Casehardened receiver and hammer. Walnut stock and fore-end. Sling swivels.
Condition: Very good. Barrel and tube retain much blued finish now turned to brown and showing scattered small patches of spotting. Action showing traces of darkened casehardening with light spotting overall. Sound wood with scattered dents and scratches, front of comb with small, neatly removed section.
