Bonhams 1793 : A long-barreled Remington Vest Pocket pistol with skeletal shoulder stock

Serial no. 1188, .22 caliber. Unmarked, blued 12 1/2 inch part round/part octagonal barrel with adjustable rear sight. Nickel-plated large frame split breech action. Extended trigger. Ivory grips with inked serial number on interior sides. Complete with rare skeletal steel stock.
Condition: Fine. Barrel retains perhaps 90% dark blue finish showing some thinning at sides and edge wear to breech section. Clean bore. Action and breech retain 95% plus partially frosted nickel finish; right side of frame showing pinpoint bubbling. Both grips with chips at forward toe.
