A German Model 1916 three-color camouflage helmet
Painted in dark tones of green, ochre and brown with black outline. Interior retains the three-piece leather liner, each section with it's horsehair-stuffed pad; no apparent maker's markings; inside of brim with painted marking, apparently E.B.R.I.R./2.
Condition: Paint showing numerous marks, scratches and chipping. Liner very solid with staining. Leather chinstrap present but broken.
