A group of Indian War era photographs of George Armstrong Custer and others
Comprising: 1) CDV of George A. Custer by Mathew Brady, seated in his Major-General's uniform holding his hat, Brady backmark. 2) Another, by E & H T Anthony from Photographic Negative in Brady's National Portrait Gallery, depicted in Major General's uniform wearing his hat. 3) 4 1/8" x 5 7/8" photograph of Custer and his wife Libby seated with his brother Thomas W. Custer, standing behind; mounted on grey cardstock with the penned notation Gen. Custer & family. 4) Cabinet photograph of 1st Lieutenant Charles de Rudio, 7th Cavalry, his name and rank notated on the reverse.
Condition: 1) Some staining/foxing, pinhole at top of mount. 2) Some staining, light folds, tears at bottom margin, pinhole at top margin. 3) Light image with minor marks. 4) Some light marks.
